Start And Be Free is a blog about starting your journey to whatever you’re looking to accomplish. Whether it be paying off debt and living a debt-free life, weight loss, or growing your career, it all requires a start; and that’s often the most difficult part. If you’re looking to bring change to your life, you have to start making changes, otherwise you’re just dreaming. So don’t tell yourself you’re going to start tomorrow or next week, or worse yet, next year. Start now.
This is my start to helping you
This blog, Start And Be Free, is my start to something I’ve been telling myself I would do for years. Time and time again I said I would start a blog and document my journey to living a debt-free life but failed to do so. Now, I’m thrilled to say I’ve finally mustered up the courage and motivation to write about my experience. If you’re reading this, I hope my story inspires you to get started pursuing your dreams. My goal is to inspire dreamers around the world to take the first steps to turn their dreams into a reality.
If I can do it, so can you
There was a point in my life when I thought I would never escape the $40,000 in credit card debt I racked up. I tossed and turned at night, wondering if I would ever be able to lift myself out of the hole I dug for myself. Over and over again I asked myself how I let things get this bad. My finances were at their breaking point and I wasn’t sure there was a path forward. But guess what? There was. All I had to do was get serious about solving my problem.
It took about four years to pay off that mountain of debt, but trust me if I can do it, so can you. It wasn’t easy, but I began to make progress the moment I started my journey. So if you’re sitting there in a similar situation thinking you can’t escape, believe me when I say that with some patience and effort, one day you too will reflect on the day you decided to start and be free.
Use my story to help you
Remember, no one is perfect. No matter how motivated you are, you’re bound to run into obstacles on the road in pursuit of your goals. Trust me, I know. I attempted to tackle my debt on multiple occasions, failing often. But you know what? Despite the failures, I eventually accomplished what I set out to do. And that was paying down all $40,000 of my credit card debt. There were many times I thought I would never be able to do it, yet here I am writing a blog about how I did it. So with that, let’s stop putting off what we want to accomplish and just go do it. With time, we’ll be exactly where we envision ourselves.
In this blog, I detail exactly what I did to get myself out of credit card debt. I talk about reducing expenses, controlling spending, building an emergency fund, as well as a host of other topics. Hopefully, you find these helpful in getting you going on your own journey.
